Welcome to the Whethersite!

The Whethermen is UVA's oldest performing improv comedy troupe. We put on two shows each semester, perform various gigs and events around Grounds, and are annual participants at the Dirty South Improv Festival (recently renamed the North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival) in Chapel Hill, NC.

Our website is currently under construction, but please check back at the beginning of the 2008-2009 school year, as we will be updating our information and adding plenty of new content!

10th Anniversary Alumni Show

The Whethermen celebrated their 10th anniversary (1997-98 to 2007-08) this past April 19th by hosting an alumni show in the Chemistry Auditorium. In attendance were members from each generation dating back through Whether-history, including two of the group's founding members, Patrick Gantz and Ryan Blackledge! Alumni and current members shared the stage in a performance which featured a host of classic shortform games and an alums-only longform.
