Who was the first person you met in OYFA and what impression of it did they give?
The first person I met in OYFA was Tri Nguyen; he gave me the impression that OYFA was the best thing in the world since ice cream.

What would you name your spaceship if you had one and why?
If I had a spaceship, I would name it J.Bo's Oneiric Space Heliotope (J.O.S.H) because I spend my time thinking of what to name my spaceship all day.

Big Sib, Lil Sib Week

Hey OYFANs! This coming week is Big/Little week for OYFA, and we have the agenda full of excitement. If you don't know who your big sib is yet, they'll be contacting you soon, but here are the scheduled events as they stand:

D7 Oylmpics - September 20


While technically not run by OYFA, this event has been in the making since this summer, and we have graciously decided to host it for our fellow schools. The Opening Cerimonies are set to begin at 11:00 AM at Nameless Field. Remember that the better your school does, the lower it will cost for Participants (so sign up!!) to get into the official afterparty: Goldrush which will be at 11:00 PM at Szechuan Restaurant. (Gold pays $2, Silver pays $3, Bronze pays $4, and everyone else pays $5)

Culturefest Practice - September 21


Come join your culture chairs Nicole and Ricky for this week's Special Culturefest Practice held in Memorial Gym - MP 1 from 2-4 PM. Big Sibs, come out and support the Babies!!

Intercourse - September 21


Sunday night, our Student Advisors, Billy and Dan, will be hosting Intercourse at Tuttle Lounge starting at 7:00 PM. Come with your big/lil sib and discuss the topic presented by the advisors.

Paint Beta Bridge - Spetember 22


Come down Rugby Road Monday night and we'll be painting Beta Bridge with our new OYFAmilies. It starts at 10:00 PM and is sponsored by your PR chairs Isabella and Antonio.

Wing Night - September 23


Big Sibs will be treating their littles Tuesday night at Buffalo Wild Wings starting at 7:00 PM. Come eat with your families and have a great time.

ISIP Class - September 24


Come to Clark 102 at 8:00 PM Wednesday and enjoy our first ISIP Class hosted by the ISIP Chairs Jun and Valerie.

Family Dinners - September 25


Get to know your Families better over food! Contact your Big Sib or Family Head for info on a time and location.

Community Event - September 26


Join the Community Chairs Amy and Krisha as they join the kids at Barrett Learning Center from 4-6 PM. You can get rides from Tuttle at 3:30 PM, or you can contact a member of your family to get a ride.

Field Day - September 27


Come dressed in family colors and be prepared for some competition. Field Day will be hosted by our Sports Chairs Tri and Liz at Nameless Field from 12-5 PM.

Hey OYFAns, welcome or welcome back for another exciting year. This week is packed with excitement starting with the First General Meeting:

As a follow up to our meeting, our first party of the year will be CARDIAC ARREST featuring DJ Toxsick:

Time: 11 PM to 2 AM
Where: Szechuan Restaurant
Rides: available at Tuttle from 10:45 to 11:45

As the weekend winds down it will be time for us to start thinking about CULTUREFEST! The first practice will be at Slaughter Recreation Center (behind O-hill) from 2 to 4 PM on Sunday, September 7. This is especially for First Years so get excited and come out!!
