We are excited that you are coming to a Days on the Lawn events! Since we anticipate many accepted students and their families will be arriving at a similar time on these days, we want to share two parking options with you in advance to help with your planning.

1) Free, all-day parking: Parking in the Emmet/Ivy Parking garage on the northwest corner of Emmet Street and University Avenue, behind the Cavalier Inn will be open to all visitors free of charge. From there you will be directed to Central Grounds, where activities will be held for the day. This parking garage is approximately a 10 minute walk from Central Grounds or you may choose to ride a University Bus (Northline) to Central Grounds (buses run every 10 minutes and allow approximate 5 minutes for the bus to arrive at Central Grounds). Please see the map below for further walking directions.

2) Central Grounds Parking: We will validate parking for the first 3 hours in our Central Grounds Garage. The rate for any extended period of time is $2/hour. The Central Grounds Parking Garage is located south of University Avenue at 400 Emmet Street, next to Memorial Gymnasium and across the street from Ruffner Hall, the School of Education. It is a five minute walk from the garage to the admission office.
