For help with installation or trouble-shooting errors, please consult the SecureFX page. Macintosh users are recommended to use a program like Fugu which may also be downloaded from ITC's Software Central- Once you have installed SecureFX, locate and double-click the SecureFX icon on your Desktop or in the Start Menu.
- When the program has opened a Connect window will appear; click the "Quick Connect" icon.
- Enter scs.student.virginia.edu for the HOSTNAME and your ESERVICES user ID for the USERNAME.
- Before you click the "Connect" button, make sure the box next to "Keyboard Interactive" is checked. Click on "Keyboard Interactive" and move it to the top of the list using the arrow buttons on the right. Click the "Connect" button when you're done.

If you do not see any folders when you log in, please verify that the President of your organization has listed you as an officer in the @UVA .
- To update your website, download all web files to your local computer by dragging them from the server window on the left to the local computer window on the right.
- Open the files from the location you dragged them to with an HTML editor such as Microsoft Expression Web, Netscape Composer, or Macromedia Dreamweaver.
- When you save your edited files, you will need to drag them back from the local computer window in SecureFX to the server window. Be sure to drag them back into the folder you first copied them from (usually groupname.web/public_html/).
- To view your changes, simply open your website URL in an internet browser and surf to your page. You may need to hit the "Refresh" button if you already have the page loaded.
