The Engineering First Year Council strives for the unity and prosperity of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, particularly in the first year class. Accordingly, the council plans programs and events to promote these objectives. Most notably, the council annually hosts the Engineering Fall Carnival, and hosts an event during E-week. Additionally, the council relays concerns to the general Engineering Student Council body and individually works to rectify concerns. The Engineering First Year Council meets weekly at 6:30 PM on Wednesdays in the Rodman Room. All first year engineering students are welcome to attend.
