Christian Praise Exhibition 2009-01-29
PSALM 150 Praise the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise him with the strings and flute, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD.
Where can you go to fellowship with other Christians and see various forms of spiritual art performed live for free? The UVa Christian Community presents a Christian Praise Exhibition for your viewing pleasure! This one of a kind event will consist of various Christians expressing bits and pieces of their religious experiences in various art forms. Perfect Praise and CHoosE will be performing dances and music, Wide Awake will present poetry/testimony reading and photography displays, and members of all Christian CIOs will have the opportunity to present their own personal versions of Christian art, including, but not limited to: music, skits, songs, dancing, short story reading, and photography. Everyone is invited to be part of the show, and each act will receive a certain time slot and an order in which to perform, and we will take care of the MC-ing! This event will be free to enter. If you are interested, please email us back immediately at wideawake@virginia.edu with a short description of what you plan to do and any props or equipment you will need in order to perform. Act fast because there is a limited number of acts we can accommodate and therefore we are accepting acts on a first come first serve basis. Please come join us for the first ever Praise Exhibition!
