What We're All About:

Embracing Christ Personally

The apostle Paul wrote, "I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me." The Christian faith is a lifelong journey of taking hold of, or embracing, the love poured out for us in the sacrificial death of Christ, and the power of his resurrection to restore us in the image of God. All that we do aims at and flow from understanding and embracing this reality in our lives, until the Day when this faith becomes sight!

Experiencing Christ Together

God does not restore us as forgiven individualists, but as a people who experience his personal, relational character through friendship. As Christ takes hold of our hearts and minds, we begin to see Christ in each other. This kind of fellowship often begins at places like our weekly meeting and small group bible studies, where we allow God’s word to penetrate our hearts. But we need it to flow into the everyday stuff of our lives. So agape “meets” every time we have you in our home for a meal, a bunch of us play a game of Ultimate, or two students hang out on the lawn and talk about their lives.

Extending Christ to Others

Since God'’s love is expansive by nature, extending the message and love of Christ to others is the natural (or supernatural), outworking in us as we embrace and experience Christ’s unconditional, agape-love.
