What We Believe

We believe that God made us to enjoy life to the fullest by knowing and pursuing Him, the Designer of the Universe and of our lives. Genesis, the book of "beginnings" and the first book of the Bible, reveals that we were made in God’s "image." In other words, we were made to reflect the nature and character of God in our lives. Is this a clue to meaning, fulfillment and purpose? We think so. Everything else has limits, but the God who designed Yellowstone and you is Infinite. And so knowing God personally and reflecting God in our lives is the ultimate, unending adventure.

The problem is that apart from God’s mercy, all of us fall way short of reflecting God’s character in our lives. We have forfeited any right to the adventure of knowing God. However, we believe that God has made a way to restore our lives in spite of our indifference or rejection of God, and our lack of true love for Him. As God works in us, we can reflect the nature and character of God as we excel in every area of life . . . athletics, relationships, science, art, engineering, music, commerce, teaching, you get the point.
