UVA £\£M£G£X currently has two long-term, perpetual service projects: Salvation Army and Cedars. Sisters have been assisting the Salvation Army with many events from day one- from soup kitchen to child daycare. Each and every week, individual sisters pay visits to the local Salvation Army center, where they help supervise, play with, and tutor young children. £\£M£G£X also visits the local Cedars Nursing Home every weekend. Here, sisters assist the staff with activities such as Bingo and serving meals. Sisters also attend to and spend time with the nursing home residents. Over 1000 individual service hours have been spent attending to our projects.
