Who is responsible for the work of Alpha at U.Va.? Meet the Brothers of Iota Beta.

The Most Distinguished Gentlemen of the Iota Beta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated welcome you to our online home. It is with great pleasure that we invite you to tour the 399th House of Alpha, one of which that upholds the ideals of manly deeds, scholarship, and love for all mankind.

On December 4, 1906, seven visionary men established the first ever brotherhood focused towards African-American college men. Since March 10, 1974, the Iota Beta chapter has worked to further the vision of these seven "Jewels" through various programs, initiatives, and service projects on the campus of the University of Virginia and within the Charlottesville community as well. Thank you to all who have supported and contributed to our endeavors as we progress in our efforts to remain true servants of all.
