Welcome Back to Bellydance!

We are gearing up for a new semester of bellydance, and we have a lot in store! Regular classes will start September 7th and 9th. See the Schedules page for more details, and subscribe to the Google calendar from the Events page. Tribal has moved to a new day! We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this may cause, but we have had trouble scheduling rooms on Tuesday night every semester. We have now been able to accomodate requests that the classes be earlier in the evening.

Members new and old, come to our information session on September 1 at 6PM in Clark 107. Please try out a class (or a few!) before dues are paid by September 23rd! Regular members, we are in need of funds now and would greatly appreciate if you could pay your dues in part or in full before classes begin. Please email Katie if you can help! We also need volunteers to help with the Student Activities Fair on August 24th and help planning for the first ever (in recent memory) Bellydance Fall Showcase. Contact Kristen and Nicole for more information.

Cabaret troupe auditions are early this year, on August 31st at 6PM in Slaughter MP-1. Open to students with at least one semester of AB cabaret. If you have taken AB tribal and are interested in joining the tribal troupe, there are no auditions at this time, but do talk to Joy about your interest. We'd love to have you!

Don't forget to join the mailing list and @UVa to receive reminders and updates, and join our Facebook Group.
