How do I become a member of the Black Student Alliance?

As a member of the Black community at the University of Virginia, you are automatically a member of the Black Student Alliance at University of Virginia. In addition, if you are inline with the mission of the Black Student Alliance, you can be a member as well.

What does that mean to be a member of the BSA? It means you have a support system that is well connected to the University that is here to SERVE YOU. We are essentially a planning and coordinating committee. Meaning: If you have any suggestions, comments, or questions, we encourage you to come out to our general body meetings that happen twice a month. These meetings serve as times to meet and/or join a committee (Leadership Development, Community Development, Academic/Career Development). These serve as amazing ways to get involved without having something that takes hours out of your day. If you have a suggestion right now or even before a meeting, please email me, your president, at Boswell@virginia.edu. We welcome suggestions, comments, or questions! Once again, the Black Student Alliance is here to serve you. We are here to connect you with the right people to get you to where you would like to go.
