MAC North Pitcher of the Week
Patrick Luckenbach 3/22/09 - 3/29/09 Luckenbach needed only 77 pitches to silence the Hokie's bats to give the Wahoos their first win of 2009. Luckenbach allowed 1 unearned run off 3 hits, 2 walks and struck out 1 in 7 innings.
MAC South Pitcher of the Week
Jim McGowan 3/24/08 - 3/30/08 Jim set the tone of UVA's series sweep of UR with a dominating performance in game one. Needing only 65 pitches, Jim threw six shutout innings en route to the win. He finished with 5Ks and only 2 hits.
 
MAC South Pitcher of the Week
Tom Warner 3/17/08 - 3/23/08 Tom came in to finish off both games in the Saturday double header against Georigia, picking up a win and a save while not allowing a runner past first base. He finished with 0 ER, 1 BB, 1 K, and 1 hit in 3 innings of work.
 
MAC South Player of the Week
Kevin Zdancewicz 3/17/08 - 3/23/08 Kevin Z played a big part in UVAs sweep over Georgia this weekend. He reached base 11 of his 13 plate appearances and drove in 5 runs while going 6 for 6 on Saturday alone.
