Todd Zivic 4/23/07 - 4/30/07 Zivic's complete game shutout win over VCU pulled UVA to within a few games of second place in the MAC South. Over seven innings, he struck out 6 and scattered 3 hits

Ryan Crain 4/16/07 - 4/22/07 Craig was masterful in a 13-1 win over the Richmond Spiders. In five innings of work, he struck out 9 and allowed just two hits and one earned run.
 
MAC South Co-Player of the Week
Adam Ventre 4/2/07 - 4/8/07 Although the Cavs dropped the series to JMU, it wasn't due to a lack of hitting from Ventre. Adam went 6-11 with 2 2B, drove in four, and scored two.
 
MAC South Co-Player of the Week
Alex Kozera 4/2/07 - 4/8/07 Kozera's 3-4 performance at the plate helped UVA pick up a needed win over VCU 8-7. Alex accounted for 6 of the teams 8 runs, driving in 3 and scoring three times himself.

Nick Bonard 3/26/07 - 4/01/07 Nick earned co-POW honors with a 9-11 performance against Radford this past weekend. In total, he accounted for 13 UVA runs, including 6 RBIs.

Alex Kozera 3/5/07 - 3/11/07 Kozera made sure the Wolfpack pitching staff would remember his name on their way back to Carolina. Alex went 6-8, with 4 RBIs, and a double.
 

MAC South Pitcher of the Week

Ryan Crain 3/5/07 - 3/11/07

Crain scattered 6 hits over 5 innings and allowed only 1 earned run as UVA evened the series against the Wolfpack. He struck out 8 and allowed just two free passes.

Keaton Brooks 2/19/07 Keaton went 3-4 with 3 doubles and 3 RBI in the championship game against NC State at Myrtle Beach to help the Cavaliers win the tournament.

Shawn picked up his second player of the week award in the 2005 season by going 6-10 against a strong Mary Washington team. He hit 2 homeruns, drove in 5, and stole 4 bases. On the mound he struck out 14 in only 6.2 innings.

Shawn's outstanding performance at the plate and on the mound led to a successful opening weekend for UVA. Shawn went 6-14 with 3 HR and 11 RBI. He also picked up a complete game victory.

Robert Cox pitched a complete game gem, helping UVA take 2 of 3 from JMU. In 7 innings of work, he only allowed 1 run while striking out 2.
