Chinese Students & Scholars Society (CSSS)

| The Chinese Students & Scholars Society (CSSS) consists mainly of UVa students, scholars, researchers, and faculty from mainland China. CSSS has been an official Contracted Independent Organization (CIO) at since Feb.1998. We welcome people form different background to join us.
Our mission is to assist Chinese students and scholars, to improve the communication with our community and to promote Chinese culture to the university through a variety of activities. Although this organization has members who are University of Virginia students and may have University employees associated or engaged inits activities and affairs, the organization is not a part of or an agency of the University. It is a separate and independent organization which is responsible for and manages its own activities and affairs. The Universidoes not direct, supervise or control the organization and is not responsible for the organization's contracts, acts or omissions.
