Over the last 30 years, more than 900 women have been initiated as Delta Gammas through the Epsilon Gamma chapter at the University of Virginia.

Delta Gamma at the University of Virginia continues to be a prestigious house on grounds, full of well-rounded and accomplished women. The chapter also continues to excel in recruitment but, in recent years, we have found that our physical house is not up to the standards of some other houses that we compete against to recruit the best potential new members.

The house has recently undergone major renovations and refurbishments. Summer before last, the House Corporation refurbished all of the bedrooms with new furniture, paint, and light fixtures; the furniture had not been replaced in the last 30 years. This past summer, the kitchen and baths were renovated.

Please be a part of the enduring legacy and celebrate the 30th year by donating to help the chapter pay for the cost of these and future renovations.

We ask that each initiated member donate at least $30, in honor of the 30th anniversary. However, we would love to have each of you donate more!

As an additional incentive for participation, we will update the website frequently to show the Pledge Class Wars.

How do the Pledge Class Wars work?

There are two ways that a pledge class can win.

  1. The pledge class that donates the most money will be one winner and will have the class's generosity commemorated by naming the Card Room in the Epsilon Gamma house after that class.
  2. The pledge class with the greatest percentage participation will be the other winner and will be commemorated with a plaque in "The Princess Suite" (a room on the third floor in front of the house).
