About Golden Key International Honor Society
Society Mission
The Golden Key International Honour Society recognizes and encourages scholastic achievement and excellence in all undergraduate fields of study, unites with faculty and administrators in developing and maintaining high standards of education, provides economic assistance to outstanding members by means of both undergraduate and graduate scholarships, and promotes altruistic conduct through voluntary service.

The Chapter at the University of Virginia
The Golden Key International Honor Society at the University of Virginia was founded April 20, 1987, and currently has over 260 active members and 68 honorary members. Located in Charlottesville, Virginia, the University of Virginia is an ideal setting for furthering the interests of Golden Key International Honor Society members, as the university's founder, Thomas Jefferson, believed in pursuing life-long liberty, truth and happiness through learning and working with others.
