Elizabeth Pettinaroli, Annual Student/Faculty Colloquium

* Funding for Roelna Adorno Lecture
* Coucil voted to fund $1100 to cover Travel and Lodging Costs

Inger Daniels, Black Graduate and Professional Student Organization

* Event is the Graduation Celebratory Barbecue to encourage non-graduating students that Graduation is possible. * Council voted to fund $606.20 for BBQ costs

Committee's progress reports

Research Exhibition

* Council voted to fund $600 for student judges.

Social Events

* Council voted to fund $1000 in addition to left over allocated spring money to sponsor summer fun, which is not limited to a End of Year BBQ and a Summer Softball Team

President's Report

* We should find new place for next year.

Vice Presidents Report

* We need to recruit more members
* Went to GLU meeting - their demands/concerns for administration

* Demonstration on north side of the Rotunda (4/20)
* Need a health insurance liason to help students deal with trouble with their policies
* Summer Health Fee is continuing this year
* Research Fee increasing, should find out why it is tied to in-state tuition, how does it help the Univerity and Graduate Students

* We elected Rich Nelson as the new 2nd VP.

* Constitutional Revisions = Motion approved to accept revisions - need to approve again in fall
* Student Evaluations - holding until administration reacts
* Graduate Funding Taskforce - Need to conduct survey of the departments
* Graduate Health Insurance Taskforce - will need to collect data on options
