We have two accounts and we don't know whether we'll be able to combine them
$13,559.64 - budget surplus in separate account
We have spent about half of this year's budget - we have about $8500
we'll spend roughly our budget
$2K for research exhibition
$1K for party
$1K additional funding for Eng conf
We may have some left over if requests are low
Spending policy: designating about $5K for protection against human error and fraud

resolution on informed retraction - accused student could choose to withdraw from the university for some set period of time prior to being formally accused; tabled but lots of support
Libby's academic integrity meeting went well; better information distribution between honor and the departments
Pat Lampkin (VP of Student Affairs) - talked about setting up grad coffee bar in Blue Room in Newcomb
Cav Daily report on Bloomfield - number of cases will not increase

Faculty Senate
- sat in on non-funding sub-committee - poll students on how we would use space allotted to us; send email questionnaire to depts; important to generate responses

Student center: trying to find out more
Meeting w/ Osheim: biggest issue with faculty hiring - pre-emptive; 2 year budget; future is unclear; A&S gets most $ from state, so we'll be hardest hit; grad fellowships will likely be frozen, but probably not decrease

SHIC: Student Health Insurance Committee - Ben and Todd are on committee reviewing proposals; subsidy for health insurance will not be going up; next meeting in January
Athletic department: not going to give us a break; Daryn will find more details and we'll figure out an approach; can we just pay the activity fee to get access to games
Party - Daryn is working on it; email to Nicky to get space early; look for co-sponsor
