OFFICER POSITIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Co-Presidents: Two individuals will function jointly as the President of Virginia Gymnastics. Responsibilities include arranging practices and meets, serving a liaison between the Club and the University/Student Council, and communicating with Classics Gymnastics Center. Traditionally one Co-President handles all of the duties associated with Nationals.
Vice-President: The primary function of the Vice President is to arrange all fundraising efforts, including Stadium Clean-ups and JPA Neighborhood clean ups. The Vice President will also assist the Co- Presidents in their responsibilities when needed.
Treasurer: Responsible for collecting dues, paying Classics Gymnastics and meet fees, and maintaining complete records of the Club's financial situation.
Secretary: Oversees and maintains the list-serve, serves as recorder during Meetings, and is in charge of certain public relations-type initiatives. The secretary is also traditionally in charge of updating and maintaining our website.
Social Coordinator: The Social Coordinator is responsible for planning events outside of the gym--this includes team building activities, social events, and banquets. This position is certainly one of the more exciting/enjoyable ways to get involved with the Club.
