Max Griffith, Secretary-General
Max is a third year student in the College of Arts and Sciences double-majoring in History and Political Philosophy, Policy and Law. A lifelong resident of Richmond, Virginia, Max has been involved in Model UN since his sophomore year of high school. After graduating, he looks forward to taking a year off and teaching English in foreign countries prior to attending law school. Last year Max served as Director-General of VICS XIII, coordinating committees and working with the conference's spectacular set of chairs. Now Secretary-General, Max can't wait for VICS XIV to finally arrive.

Marina Arnold, Chargé d'Affaires
Marina is a first year student from Fairfax, Virginia in the College of Arts and Sciences planning to major in Foreign Affairs with a minor in Spanish. She has actively participated in Model UN throughout both middle school and high school and is excited to be involved in the International Relations Organization at the University of Virginia. Marina hopes to study abroad in Spain for a summer or a semester, and enjoys learning about cultures and languages. In her spare time she loves running, playing soccer, and reading.

Brian Gomez, Director-General
Brian is a first year planning to double major in Commerce and Foreign Affairs. He was born in California but considers Virginia his home after living in Woodbridge, VA for eight years. He has been involved in Model UN for four years and managed Gar-Field High School’s MUN Conference his senior year as the club’s Secretary-General. Brian hopes to one day work as a staffer on Capitol Hill or as a civil servant in the Pentagon. In his free time, Brian enjoys playing acoustic guitar around campfires and serving it up in tennis.

Nikhil Maitra, Chief of Staff
Nikhil is a first year student in the College of Arts and Sciences planning to double-major in Commerce and Economics. Nikhil attended the American School of Kuwait for high school, where he was actively involved in planning some of the region's top-level Model UN competitions. Now a student at the University of Virginia, few things brighten up Nikhil's day more than playing soccer and managing VICS staffers.

Chris Beall, Under-Secretary-General of Public Relations
Chris is a third year in the McIntire School of Commerce at UVA. He has been involved in MUN since he began high school at Maggie Walker Governor's School in Richmond, VA. After spending his first year of college away at Tufts University, Chris returned to his home state, and has been enjoying UVA ever since. After graduation he hopes to work in sales and trading, although with the state of the economy these days he may have to be happy playing ultimate and staying an avid music fan.

Vinitra Rangan, Under-Secretary-General of Logistics
Vinitra is a first year student in the College of Arts and Sciences planning to double-major in Foreign Affairs and Commerce. She moved to the United States six years ago from the city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates for middle school. Vinitra was active in Model United Nations at her high school and plans to continue this involvement in college as she hopes to work for an international organization someday. In her free time, Vinitra enjoys dancing, reading, and watching House.
