Judiciary Branch

The ISC is working to develop its Judiciary Branch to be a more practical resource for the sorority community. Rather than holding structured judicial hearings, the new Judiciary Branch will primarily rely on a mediation process for cases that arise between chapters. Judicial hearings will only be used as a last resort.

ISC Executive Board members will serve as the mediators initially. Keeping with the tradition of student self-governance at the University of Virginia, the ISC’s goal is for sorority women to hold the mediator roles in the near future.

If you have any questions or would like to get involved in the development of the Judiciary Branch, please contact Vice President of Judiciary Brie Nelson.
