The Jefferson Society controls the rental and use of its traditional home, Jefferson Hall, a.k.a. Hotel C on the West Range. University Departments and Contracted Independent Organizations, as well as other groups such as wedding parties, are welcome to request use of the Hall. Reservations are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis by the Society’s Room Seven Resident (currently Ms. Bailee Barfield). Click here to view the terms and conditions of renting Jefferson Hall. Hall rental is free for University-related organizations and events, and for events hosted by either regular or lifetime members of the Jefferson Society. All other groups may rent for $75 for five hours, $20 for each additional hour. EVERY group is subject to a separate $75 security deposit against any damage that may occur to the Hall during the course of a rental, including failure to remove garbage from the Hall and failure to return the chairs to their original location.
