UVa Club of Charlottesville
The mission of the UVaClub of Charlottesville is to foster ongoing relationships between The University of Virginia and the local community of friends, alumni and employees of U.Va. through a series of educational, networking, athletic, charitable and social events. Several high-profile programs during the year raise funds to support the Jefferson Scholars Program at U.Va., whose funds go to provide a qualifying central Virginia student the opportunity to receive one of the coveted Jefferson Scholarships. In addition, the club supports the U.Va. Admissions office to encourage local high school students to apply for admission to attend the University as their college of choice. On average, 120 local students enter U.Va. each year. For more information visit their Website.
