Once a student registers for a specific HAHAH program, the volunteer will be trained by his or her program director before ever going on-site. During the training session, program directors (PDs) will review volunteer responsibilities, provide each student with a volunteer manual and answer any program-related questions. No previous volunteer experience is necessary, and carpool arrangements are often available for those volunteers without a car.
