Madison House's American Red Cross program serves to help the Central Virginia Chapter further the mission of the Red Cross as a humanitarian organization. The program aims to educate both students and the Charlottesville community about the Red Cross and its services ranging from Health and Safety to Disaster Relief. Students will be given the opportunity to participate in a variety of projects that will benefit Charlottesville and surrounding areas, including but not limited to: blood drive recruitment, donor relations, and community disaster education. Through the partnership between Madison House and the Red Cross, the program hopes to promote lifelong volunteerism and encourage students to maintain a lasting relationship with the Red Cross.
