L'esquive (2003)*
Games of Love and Chance

This award-winning film follows a group of teenagers from the gritty Parisian suburbs who decide to put on a play by Marivaux, "Games of Love and Chance". The juxtaposition of the teenagers' multi-ethnic slang and the polished rhetoric of the 18th century helps give another face to their lives than that of troubled teens in a ghetto.
