Flyering! Print out copies of the following flyers; post them around grounds; hand them to friends, acquaintances, and perfect strangers!
Table the Lawn!
We will have a table on the Lawn (on that corner in front of Cabell close to the amphitheater where there are always lots of tables) to hand out flyers - 12 and 13th of February, from 9AM to 12:30PM. If you would like to come help out (even for as little as half an hour!) we would greatly appreciate it. Yes, it will be cold, but hopefully it will be fun too. In the slow moments when there aren't as many potential film viewers passing by, we'd like to chalk up some sidewalks and hang up a few posters here and there.
Send Emails!
Send information about the festival to your friends and to mailing lists you belong to! Make sure to include the following details, or email and ask for a sample email.
FRANCOPHONE FILM FESTIVAL!
February 14-17, 2008
Students from the French Department of the University of Virginia are organizing a festival of contemporary French Films. The film festival brings to UVA five acclaimed films from around the world. Each film will be introduced by a speaker, who will also lead a discussion afterwards. Most showings are FREE (The two Sunday night showings, in partnership with OFFScreen, are $3), and ALL will be subtitled in English. See the website for the schedule of films!
