Why did you want the position you currently hold?
- It’s the least I can do for OYFA since they did so much for me when I was a confused transfer student. The Membership committee’s in charge of all my favorite events, and I really wanted to strengthen its Sib program. Everyone needs a mentor at some point in their life, like I did when I first hit college. My mentor changed my life, and I knew I had the tenacity to give that to all incoming OYFAns and bolster OYFA’s membership base as well.
If you could have any other position in OYFA at this very moment, what would it be and why?
- Hmm…I think I’ll stick with Membership. I love it too damn much!
What does it means to you to be Filipino?
- (Family)2 + (Food)2 +(Tradition)2 + Halo-Halo + Barongs + Pacquiao + [Martial arts used in “The Bourne Ultimatum”] + Jeepney + Mega Mall = Filipino
If you had three wishes, what would they be?
- I want a Ferrari. Cruising in one down the Pacific Coast Highway or driving one hard at a racing circuit in race-made would give me a happiness that is indescribable. (If you don’t know what a Ferrari is, we need to talk.)
- I want a superpower—more specifically, I want Sub-Zero’s (Mortal Kombat Character) power of freezing things ice cold. I can turn my hot coffees into iced coffees because iced coffees are just better, I can turn my fists into big blocks of ice and break things, I can make an igloo, and I can freeze lakes in the summertime to play ice hockey. It’s cool.
- To be happy and healthy in sunny California, preferably in SoCal with lots of Thai- Iced Bubble Tea. There’s no need to wish for my career and aspirations, because they’re coming.

Why did you want the position you currently hold?
- I am membership because I LOVE PEOPLE and meeting new people. This allows me to do in at an exponential rate without being sketchy.
If you could have any other position in OYFA at this very moment, what would it be and why?
- If I could switch to any position I would switch to a newly established committee called "get new members and promote the growth of the organization through more people". In this position i feel like i could do more for the organization by making people join and keeping people in the organization. By making a difference through this committee I feel like i could truly contribute to this organization!!!
What does it means to you to be Filipino?
- To me, to be a Filipino means... Family, Friendship, Foundation, Fortitude, AND FUNNNNNNNs!
If you had three wishes, what would they be?
- My first wish would be to see 2 minutes into the future. This is just enough time to change things, but not enough to truly see the future and therefore avoid all the paradox that comes from Time Travel.
- My second wish would be to walk a mile in someones shoes...without the walking.
- My third wish would be to make food at will with my mind...like Meat food, not vegetables. REASON---> END WORLD HUNGER
The powers and duties of the Membership Committee include but are not limited to:
A. To maintain and increase OYFA membership. B. To organize, maintain, and improve upon the Sibling and Family Programs. C. To revise the OYFA brochure and display board to be used at the CIO Activities Fair and other promotional events. D. To provide incentives for attending General meetings (i.e. refreshments, prizes, entertainment). E. To recognize members’ achievements in an "OYFAn of the Month" Award program. F. To maintain an accurate database on current OYFA members along with the Recording Secretary. G. To coordinate with the other committees (Social, Cultural, Sports, Service) on activities and projects to promote unity and fellowship amongst OYFAns. H. To update the presiding officer on the progress of the committee.
