Sept 23 UVA IM tournament

Oct 28 Maryland Terrapin at the University of Maryland.  We sent two teams.  The A team (Mat Rose, Steve Perry, John Kenney, Katie Bowers) played in Division I and did rather well, finishing with a record of 8 wins and 2 losses for a second place finish.  The B team (Mike Weiss and Michael Loatman- with sincere apologies to Allen Robinson who was mistakenly left in Charlottesville), played in Division II and ended with a record of 2 wins and 9 losses for a 10th place finish.  Congratulations to John who finished the third best scorer for the tournament, his overall PPG were 53.00.

Nov 11 NAQT Mid-Atlantic IFT was here.  We sent two teams.  The A team (Steve Perry) played Division I and finished overall fifth with a record of seven wins and six losses.  The B team (Allen Robinson, Lisa Jensen, and Gordon Marx) played Division II and finished overall seventh, also with a record of seven wins and six losses.  Congratulations to Steve who was the overall highest scorer, his PPG were 90.38.

Nov 18 Cavalier Classic V

Jan 20 ACF Regionals at GWU. We sent one team (Steve, John, Mat, Katie) who won with only one loss to Swarthmore and a record of 13-1 after the double round robin play. Congratulations to John who was the number one scorer for the tournament.

Jan 26-7 Pennbowl 10 at U Penn, we sent a team (Katie, Mat, Steve) who went 11-4 and were given the fourth slot from the "Hal" bracket to go on to the finals, but lost the first game of the finals by 35 points to MIT, sadly.

Feb 10 NAQT Mid-Atlantic SCT at Johns Hopkins.  The Division I team (Katie, John, Mat, Steve) had a record of 12 and 3, with losses to George Washington A (before half the team arrived), U Penn (also before half the team arrived), and Princeton A.  They came in second in Div I.  The Division II team (Mike Weiss, Mike Dance, and Chris Manteuffel) finished with a record of 9-6, tied for sixth place in Div II with Swarthmore.  Congratulations to John who was 3rd highest scorer in Div I, Steve who was 6th highest scorer in Div I, and Chris who was 2nd highest scorer and highest negger in Div II!

Feb 24 Juan Carlos Viscerra VII at GWU.  Braving DC traffic on Inauguration Day, our team (Katie, John, Mat, Steve) ventured into Washington, D.C. and emerged with a record of 6-4 and a fifth place finish.

Mar 23-4 ACF Nationals at the University of Michigan.  Our team (John, Steve, Matt Schiffler, Abhi) placed second after going undefeated in their bracket with a record of 7-0 and then losing to Michigan A in the master's bracket.  Congratulations to John who was the number one high scorer!  Also congratulations to Steve who placed right up there!

Apr 6 NAQT Nationals at Washington University in St. Louis.  Our Div I team (John, Steve, Chris, Abhi) played with a record of 9-6 to place fifth behind Chicago, Michigan A, Michigan B, and Illinois.  Congratulations to John who was the eighth highest scorer with 51.11 ppg!

Apr 21 NAQT Virginia HS Championship was hosted here.  Gov School of Richmond beat TJHSST of Alexandria for the title.
