NAQT Virginia HS Championships 2002
at The University of Virginia
The NAQT Virginia HS Championships 2002, a state-wide qualifier for the NAQT National High School tournament to be held at the University of Texas, Austin in June 2002, will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2002 at the University of Virginia.. All Virginia high schools are eligible to attend and were sent a mailing; Maryland and DC schools and other schools from states not hosting a state-wide HS championship may also attend, but will not receive a mailing.  For more information, please visit the NAQT website.

The tournament will be held on the first floor of Cabell Hall.   Registration will begin at 8:30 in Cabell 138 and play will begin promptly at 9:30. Teams will receive one hour for lunch and an option to order pizza will be given.
Fees are as follows:

$55 for the first team
$45 for each other team from a school
- $10 for a working buzzer system
- $10 for a competent moderator
$20 for tournament questions (delivered after the tournament)

minimum fee: $26

Please visit tournament central for directions, hotels, dining, and other information about attending a tournament at the University of Virginia.  The tournament will be at approximately the same level of difficulty as last year's tournament and will be run untimed using Official NAQT rules.
