What's that? No experience? No problem!

Many of the highly skilled techies you find designing and building our sets had little or no experience when they joined SotL. We can teach you everything you need to know from how to properly clean a paint brush to how to use a miter saw to cut a complicated support beam.

But what's "tech week" you say? Tech week is the period (anywhere from 5 to 11 days) before a main stage show in which the tech crew and production staff invade the Student Activities Building and set up the stage, build the set, hang the lights, and effectively turn a big empty warehouse into a theater.
