Relay for Life
Last year ATΩ participated in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life for the first time. In four weeks time, Team ATΩ was able to raise well over a thousand dollars. On the night of the event, the team, fifteen strong, stayed up all night ensuring that a member of the team was always circling the track. By morning, Team ATΩ earned the title of "Team Most Best Team."
This year, based on the positive experiences from the last relay, ATΩ will be forming another team. With the advanced notice, Team ATΩ plans on raising more money and having an awesome time. The UVa Relay for Life event will be held this year at the Fontaine Research Park. The relay will begin at 7pm on 22 April and end at 7am the following morning.
