This semester is also packed with fun surprises, pampering, and bonding with fellow probies and current guides. The requirements for the probie semester include:
- Each probie must attend weekly meetings. Probies receive a manual of information and a syllabus of weekly readings. A quiz and discussion will follow these readings. Don't worry, these meetings are fun, but it is essential that probies learn the information that is presented each week.
- Each probie must attend monthly general meetings.
- Each probie will observe a certain number of tours given by others, as well as give a tour or part of a tour over the course of the probie semester. Each Probie Chair will set his or her own policy regarding giving and observing tours.
- Pay probie dues this semester. Every year after this semester, you pay the regular amount that the rest of the members pay (see below)
- Be prepared to give both Admissions and Historical tours at the conclusion of the semester.
- Have fun and enjoy the experience.
