hello all! Just a note to say that the new Exco for 2008--2009 has been officially interred in their new positions, and so now there is a new Webmaster...who has no clue when it comes to designing websites. So she needs a lot of help (: We'll be engaging the services of a Ms Dorothy Poon and the website will be under construction for a while, but with some luck we'll be back soon and there will be (more) regular updates! stay tuned!

Hello all. The webmaster is in the commerce school, and has been quite overloaded of late. A few major updates. I've decided to put all meeting minutes assorted documents in the "kampung news" page. So click there if you're interested!

So much has happened in the Summer that has past, and this website fails to show much of it. This will change once the webmaster is free to do so. Till then!

Hello again everyone. I'm really quite overjoyed that the website has been accessed, <gasp> 100 times! We're well on our way towards world net domination!

The 1st year reunion at yix's place was a great success. (self pat) And the pictures have been posted up on the gallery. Thanks zhen and eudora for coming! Sadly, the rest of the incoming 1st years were scattered all over the globe, in India, the US, China, and Indonesia.

Hello all! I'm so pleased that the webpage is getting viewership! However we still don't appear on google, what a great pity. Hopefully that will change soon.

SSA update. June ECM held in jervis's place, and some great ideas have been put forward. We also had great bowls of mutton soup and bar chor mee at adam's road hawker center too after the meeting.

We're gearing up for Experience '07, and the JC talks. In addition we are also going to have a dinner for the new first years. The doodle link is here for all the first years, and any kaypo other years to register. It's going to be at my place anyway.

We're planning for a book forum to be launched, perhaps with the Hong Kong Student Association where we can sell books to each other. That'll come into play when we return to UVA.

Oh yes, SSA members please keep July 15th clear for the Experience Fair 2007.

1st June 2007

Newest update. 15 brand new students schooled in Singapore to enter UVA in 2007! This is a massive bumper crop! SSA executive committee also tried to go mambo'ing, but ended up in "phunk bar" in mohd sultan to witness "parang" knife attack at Bah Kut Teh store!

Also, congrats to all SSA members who have graduated. Helen, Shu En, Lee keong, Nick, Buddi, Hiok Por, congrats! We'll all be lonely without you guys!

Plus (ok, its getting a bit tiresome) Fall 2007 will see 6 (yes gasp!) Singaporeans enter the commerce school. Congrats to Jessica, Cecil, Clara, Cheryl, Jervis and yix(Congratulary pat on my own back). I seriously don't think this has happened in recent history. But it has reinforced the urban legend that Lee Kuan Yew or some other godly force ensures that all Singaporeans who apply for the commerce school are accepted.

Ok! After goodness how long of long slumber, the UVA SSA website is yet again up and running! I'm yix, the new webmaster! (note, ignore the 2000-2005 tag below, I can't figure out how to change that)

Its summer 2007 now, and most of us are back in Singapore eating shiok shiok hawker food. UVA SSA executive committee will be meeting up on the 2nd of June 2007 to discuss our new "BIG" plans for the semester.

Updates- All sections in the "info" section have been updated. Statistics updated, new paragraphs written. Total change in the website avoided due to a) relevence of old material. b) webmaster is too scared to mess up the present beauty of the website. Check out the gallery for the new pictures i've put up for 2007! Meta tags also added so we'll appear on google.
