- What We Shoot -
-
Skeet [top]
In skeet, there are 8 stations arranged in a semi-circle. The targets (clay
discs) are thrown from two houses (low and high). At every station, you are
thrown a high and a low, and on stations 1,2,6,7 you are also thrown a pair
(two targets thrown at the same time). We mostly shoot skeet here, but several
of our members also shoot trap or sporting clays.
-
Trap [top]
In trap, up to 5 shooters stand behind the house where the targets are thrown.
The target direction is random, but confined to a relatively small arc in front
of the shooters.
-
Sporting Clays [top]
Sporting Clays has been said to be golf with a shotgun. Shooters walk between
stations where various combinations of targets are thrown, depending on where
you are.
