Every year the Washington society hosts two literary contests; an non-original contest in the fall and an original contest in the spring. These contests are open to the university community, and are judge by a panel of faculty members. They showcase the creativity as well as the oratorical skills of Washington Society members and of the University. The Original Literary Contest this spring is scheduled for March 24th.
