Leap of Faith
Leap of Faith
is a student-written, student-run, traveling drama and music production
from the Wesley Foundation at UVa. Each semester we perform a new
show for Methodist churches all around central Virginia. Past
shows have included: Singing It All Back Together, A Jonah
Story, A Fresh Coat of Paint, and Rediscovery. We were born of the desire to spread the idea that people of our generation are serious about preserving the church and its messages of forgiveness, peace, tolerance and justice. We believe that the message of our show challenges people of all backgrounds, cultures and ages to greater action in God's world. We gather
the cast for a new show every September and every January. We hold
interest meetings early in each semester on Sunday evenings at the
Wesley Foundation. There are no auditions and we welcome any and
everyone. If you're interested, please contact our director: Alex
Chapin (anc4a@virginia.edu). Casts from previous shows
